The Finishing Touch to a PERFECT Steak

Our delicious steaks and steak burgers are pre-seasoned, prepared medium-rare, and flash-frozen for freshness. That way, you can finish them anyway you want - You won’t get it fresher - or more convenient - than that!

STEP 1
Remove the meat(s) from the freezer.

STEP 2
Place in the refrigerator until thawed. This will allow the meat to absorb the cooked juice to enhance the flavor.

STEP 3
Once thawed, remove the meat from the vacuum-sealed packaging and place on a paper towel. Pat the top and sides of the meat to remove all excess moisture. This will work to maximize the effects of heat on the meat and reduce the finishing time.

STEP 4
Seasoning. The meats have already been seasoned before we cooked them to medium rare. So no seasoning is required unless you are blackening them or heavily seasoning them in some other manner.

STEP 5
For all of our meats, before finishing, brush organic virgin olive oil on the meat. Cover all surfaces liberally.

Then finish it off your way!

Cast Iron Sear (Preferred)
Bring your cast iron pan to the highest level of heat.

If it is the Strip Steak, sear each edge for 1 minute, then each side for 1 minute (4 minutes total). Remove and serve.

If it's the Hanger Steak or the Steak Burger, sear each side for 2 minutes. Remove and serve.
Broiling
 Broil for 3 minutes on each side, making sure the loin is no more than 3 inches away from broiler. Remove and serve.
Grilling
Set the grill to high heat for at least 15 minutes so the grates become nice and hot.
If it is the Strip Steak, grill each edge for 1 minute, then each side for 1 minute (4 minutes total). Remove and serve.

If it's the Hanger Steak or the Steak Burger, sear each side for 2 minutes. Remove and serve.
